The AADC at Boston University is seeking a talented and motivated Bioinformatician to join our dynamic, interdisciplinary research team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with faculty engaged in cutting-edge research on inflammation, vascular disease, and fibrosis, using datasets from both human and mouse models.

Key Responsibilities: Analyze high-throughput biological datasets (e.g., bulk RNA-seq, single-cell RNA-seq, proteomics, epigenomics). Collaborate with faculty and researchers to design and execute data-driven studies. Develop and maintain pipelines for data processing, integration, and visualization. Interpret and present results to collaborators and contribute to scientific publications. Stay current on emerging bioinformatics tools and technologies relevant to the research.

Required Skills

Qualifications: PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, or a related field. Proficiency in data analysis languages (e.g., R, Python) and bioinformatics software/tools. Experience working with genomic and transcriptomic datasets. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly. Experience with data from inflammatory, vascular, or fibrotic disease models is a plus.
