POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Development and Acquisitions will work closely with the senior leadership team and oversee the sourcing, negotiation, acquisition, and development of current and new development opportunities. This role involves assessing potential growth areas, studying market trends, and conducting detailed land acquisition analysis. The Vice President will also be instrumental in master planning and developing acquired assets to achieve financial and operational targets.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Planning, Architecture, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
7-10 years of experience in land acquisition and development roles such as land broker, market research, financial analysis, and project management.
At least 5 years’ experience in multifamily development, including site acquisition, due diligence, entitlements, permitting, design, and construction.
Ability to read and evaluate civil engineering/development plans.
Experience in developing schedules and budgets, ensuring timely delivery.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Understanding of local real estate markets, zoning regulations, building codes, and land use approvals.
Proven track record managing large-scale multifamily projects from inception to completion.
Creative thinker with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently, demonstrate cultural competency, and build trust quickly.
Flexible schedule, including availability for late nights and weekends.

Medical: $8,741.40/year
