KPMG is currently seeking a Managing Director, Global Technology Buy-From Lead to join our Global Enterprise Technology team which is part of KPMG International organization.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a comprehensive and forward-looking understanding of evolving product and service roadmaps of key strategic suppliers (external or internal), ensuring that KPMG's priorities, innovation goals and future business needs are proactively represented and embedded in planning cycles Act as a central point of coordination to gather, synthesize and articulate strategic technology requirements from across KPMG's global network of member firms and functions, aligning them with development trajectory Design and execute negotiation strategies that reflect KPMG's global scale, business priorities, and evolving technology needs, ensuring optimal commercial outcomes and long-term value from external and internal engagements Represent KPMG in high-impact negotiations with key strategic suppliers (i.e. Microsoft), working in partnership with procurement, legal and technology stakeholders to secure favorable terms, pricing models, and service commitments Maintain a real-time, data-driven view of technology product and service adoption across the KPMG network, identifying trends, gaps and opportunities for optimization Partner with internal stakeholders to drive alignment on strategic direction, ensuring that adoption efforts are consistent with enterprise architecture, security and operational standard
Qualifications:
Minimum twenty years of recent experience in senior roles involving complex decision-making, with a proven track record of adaptability, consistent performance during change and effective communication across teams to ensure smooth execution Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Deep knowledge of strategic solution delivery models and organizational design, with the ability to drive innovation, continuous improvement and align resources to emerging opportunities Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)
