What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Develop and drive the overall technical roadmap for the GIA Platform organization, aligning it with business goals - Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-discipline stakeholders to optimize platform service strategies - Lead the design and architecture of resilient and scalable platform services, both on-premises and in the cloud - Champion best practices in software development and safe deployment processes for continuous delivery - Mentor and coach team members to enhance technical expertise and drive operational excellence
What is Required (Qualifications): - Fluency in at least one modern programming language (Go preferred, .Net a plus) - 10+ years of professional experience in software development - 8+ years of experience with architecture and design of scalable systems - Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and hybrid cloud architecture - Excellent leadership and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Experience with open-source frameworks and cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) - Background in incident management and creating incident response playbooks - Familiarity with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools - Proven track record of leading software development in large organizations - Visionary thinking with the ability to anticipate future challenges and opportunities
