Purpose of Job: This position is responsible for managing the company-owned distributorship to meet or exceed operational and financial goals, including gross profit and lead acquisition strategies. Job Components: Performance metrics vary based on units sold: For operations with >90,000 units sold For operations with 60,000 units sold For operations with 40,000 units sold Financial responsibilities (30/30/30/40%) include: Managing P&L and budget performance Monitoring weekly scorecards and monthly financials Managing accounts receivable and developing action plans Participating in annual budgeting Managing inventory levels and analyzing deviations Optimizing dealer inventory for sales efficiency Customer Focus (15/30/30/40%) involves: Using tools to identify market declines and address them Maintaining relationships with key accounts Managing dealer erosion and understanding market competition Handling customer complaints promptly Working with sales to acquire new business Human Capital (40/20/10/5%) includes: Communicating company initiatives and goals Conducting weekly meetings and performance reviews Hiring, promoting, and managing labor and performance Providing training, coaching, recognition, and rewards Process (15/20/30/15%) covers: Ensuring data integrity and compliance Developing best practices for productivity Managing routing and process improvements Qualifications: Minimum 5 years managerial experience Experience in warehouse or distribution a plus Computer skills in Word and Excel preferred Knowledge of batteries or automotive systems a plus Strong communication, detail orientation, interpersonal skills, planning, results orientation, responsiveness, and performance management skills Customer-focused, entrepreneurial, proactive, with battery business knowledge Scope Data: Internal and external contacts High relational interaction with minimal supervision Building and maintaining relationships across the enterprise Work Environment: Sitting, handling, talking, standing, walking Visual acuity and ability to lift 50+ lbs.
