MTA is one of the largest transit systems in the United States and is seeking dynamic and energetic individuals to join the MTA team!

The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of HR Administrator I (TE) to support functional areas in the Office of Human Resources. The incumbent will be selected for one of the following HR program areas:

· Talent Acquisition

· Classification and Compensation

· Employment Services

· Benefits and Retirement Services

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills and be capable of managing responsibilities within one or more of the specialized HR functional areas.

The current vacancy exists in Baltimore, MD (Baltimore City).

Qualifications

Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

Experience: Three (3) years of professional human resources work experience in any of the following areas:

Job analysis or evaluation

Salary administration

Recruitment and selection

Employment services and benefits

Human resources program evaluation

Human resources transactions

Notes:

Thirty graduate semester credits from a college or university in the fields of HR administration, business administration, public administration, statistics, tests and measurements, or psychology may be substituted for one year of experience.

Paraprofessional HR experience or professional HR management work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of the required education.

Candidates may substitute equivalent U.S. Armed Forces military service experience on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of the required education .

Licenses & Certifications

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
