We are seeking skilled Pipe Fitters on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in fitting pipes according to ASME codes and specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles and shapes using hand and power tools or machines Fit and secure pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures using various methods, including welding, brazing, and threading Inspect and test installed systems and pipelines for leaks, pressure, and alignment with ASME codes Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in an ASME code shop environment Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings Strong knowledge of various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and Flux Ability to operate hand and power tools relevant to pipe fitting and welding Good understanding of ASME codes and standards Strong attention to detail and accuracy
