Required Skills: Software Engineering Manager Responsibilities: Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in fields such as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. Be highly technical and an effective people manager. Be a subject matter expert in at least one specific domain (e.g., product, product infrastructure, infrastructure, machine learning). Lead teams delivering multiple projects with increasing dependencies in ambiguous or high-impact areas. Work with team and cross-functional partners to define and influence strategy. Address issues requiring in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Drive roadmap creation and execution. Collaborate with various functions, drive engineering initiatives, and impact the organization. Participate in technical design. Measure team impact and set clear expectations and goals. Manage activities of two or more sections or departments, supervising costs, methods, and staffing. Work effectively with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes. Partner with leadership to influence and drive organizational design, contribution, and prioritization. Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software, Information Systems, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, plus 1 year of experience in a similar role or related occupation. 1 year of experience in: Software engineering, including hands-on technical management of infrastructure core components. Coding experience in C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, or PHP. Experience in architecting, developing, and shipping software products or services. Building products with front-end technologies or backend systems. Designing large-scale Internet service architectures (load balancing, LAMP, CDN). Developing distributed systems, storage systems, or cache and data distribution infrastructure. Public Compensation: $258,925/year to $290,180/year + bonus, equity, and benefits. Industry:
