Summary:
The Plant Manager manages day-to-day operations at the DeWitt, IA manufacturing plant. The non-unionized facility employs approximately 150 employees over two shifts. The facility has an on-site Quality Supervisor, Planner, Engineer, and HR Manager whose supervisors are located at LITTLE TREES headquarters in Watertown, NY.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day production output. Ensure that product is manufactured to specifications. Understand production processes and equipment. Advise on new equipment and process improvements. Coordinate installation. Oversee facility operations. Appointing and supervising of Assistant Plant Manager and all production supervisors. Provide direction, training, and development of plant personnel. Forecast and maintain the necessary staffing levels for the facility. Partner with Human Resources for hiring, retention efforts, and employee performance. Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience managing in a manufacturing environment. Detailed knowledge of plant and manufacturing operations Experience in Printing is advantageous
