We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Quality Manager

to lead our Quality Department. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, leading quality assurance activities, and driving continuous improvement. The Quality Manager will manage the quality inspectors and will be responsible for all quality-related functions. Additionally, this role will promote, develop, and oversee the compliance of the quality system, ensuring that all processes align with industry standards and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of the Quality Department, including supplier quality, root cause analysis, audits, First Article Inspections, regulatory compliance, and customer source inspections.

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, MIL-STDs, and AWS welding standards.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes to ensure production meets regulatory and customer requirements.

Review and approve new projects, identifying quality requirements and ensuring necessary certifications are obtained.

Oversee quality aspects of welding operations, including obtaining and maintaining welding certifications for major projects.

Conduct internal and external audits, manage corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide training to employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.

Collaborate with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Manage and maintain quality inspections and product release procedures.

Manage and maintain calibration system

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field ().

5 years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.

2 years of experience in a quality management position.

Strong understanding of ISO 9001, AS9100 standards.

Experience with MIL-STDs, and AWS welding standards is an advantage.

Experience with supplier quality management, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certifications are an advantage.

Proficiency in quality tools such as FAI, PPAP, RCA, 8D, and SPC.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to read & interpret mechanical blueprints \ drawings.

Computer literacy & familiarity with Microsoft Excel

Experience with new project approvals and preparation for quality aspects in a manufacturing setting.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Time management skills.

Attention to details.

Pay $90K-125K depending on experience
