Senior Accountant, Lease & Debt Accounting at a Glance This role involves managing the accounting and reporting of lease and debt obligations, performing technical accounting research, and supporting various strategic projects such as acquisitions and divestitures. The role requires interaction with multiple departments and external auditors. Key Responsibilities: Accounting and reporting of lease activities using the company’s system Contract review for lease identification and accounting implications Accounting for global debt activities, including issuance and extinguishment Analyzing and reporting external investment activities Partnering with procurement, treasury, and business units Maintaining SOX controls related to leasing, debt, and investments Preparing disclosures for SEC filings Researching technical accounting issues and preparing memos Collaborating with external auditors Supporting projects related to M&A, financing, and system implementations Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations 2+ years of relevant experience; lease, debt, or investment accounting experience is a plus Ability to prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment Experience with SAP and Hyperion is advantageous Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and leadership skills Our Total Rewards program supports our diverse workforce with a range of benefits tailored to meet various needs.
