The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and testing internal products; providing technical support for teams such as sales, manufacturing, and service of company products; developing engineering concepts, and assisting other groups as needed.

Responsibilities:

Utilizes creativity, mechanical design ability, and good interpersonal skills. Designs and develops portions of machine tools and related equipment and systems. Creates design layouts and detail part drawings. Performs engineering analysis. Specifies machine components, materials, and purchased parts. Conducts and/or participates in design reviews with team members. Establishes machine specifications and procedures. Provides technical support for sales, manufacturing and service groups. Analyzes costs and develops engineering designs for equipment. Creates designs that are functional, safe, and reliable for customers. Meets product plan goals and timelines. Stays in tune with new developments in technology and competitive products. Requirements:

BS Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical preferred). ABET accredited degree is ideal. Experience: 0 to 10 years Previous design and engineering experience in the machine tool industry. Experienced with concepts such as specialized mechanisms, rotating assemblies, power transmission systems, sheet metal guarding, spindles, motion control, pneumatics/hydraulics, and electrical/industrial controls Able to design using CAD software Benefits: Hired employees will receive great benefits along with an extremely competitive compensation package.
