Fire Suppression Design Engineer either

Senior or Junior level , depending on experienceto design and oversee special hazard fire suppression and fire alarm systems. This is your opportunity to grow in a dynamic environment with industry-leading technology and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Design life safety and asset protection systems using

AutoCAD 2D/3D

and proprietary fire protection software. Ensure designs comply with

local, state, and national fire codes , as well as manufacturer standards. Direct contractors during installation and system operation to ensure compliance with design specifications. Conduct job site surveys to verify proper system layout and installation. Review and implement customer-supplied project specifications accurately. Attend manufacturer training classes and other continuing education programs to stay updated on industry standards. Create project-specific

operation and maintenance manuals . Update and maintain existing system drawings. Support office staff with engineering-related tasks, including process improvements. Assist with system inspections, maintenance, startups, and commissioning as needed. Required Qualifications:

Experience in the

fire protection industry designing

special hazard fire suppression and fire alarm systems

(sprinkler-only designers will not be considered). Previous experience as a

Design Engineer . Proficient in

AutoCAD 2D drafting ; working knowledge of 3D design software. Familiarity with

MS Office applications . Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly. Enthusiasm to learn industry standards and pursue professional certifications such as

NICET . Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. NICET Certification

in Fire Protection Engineering.
