Job Description: Executive Assistant to the President

Job Summary : Provides high-level administrative and strategic support to the President, exercising considerable discretion and independent judgment in managing priorities, communications, and special initiatives. Serves as a trusted liaison between the President and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring that the President's objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
Minimum Required
Education:
Associate's degree with substantial relevant experience required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum Required
Experience:
Five years of progressively responsible administrative support experience, preferably in a higher education or executive-level environment.
Core Duties and
Required Knowledge:
Provide high-level administrative support to the President, managing a complex calendar, coordinating meetings and events, making travel arrangements, and processing related expenses.
Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on matters relating to the President's Office, demonstrating professionalism, tact, and courtesy.
Manage the flow of communications (electronic, paper, and verbal), prioritizing, disseminating, composing, and distributing information effectively and confidentially.
Anticipate the needs of the President regarding upcoming meetings, negotiations, or special events, ensuring timely and effective support.
Serve as a liaison with the Board of Trustees, coordinating meetings, preparing and posting agendas in compliance with legal requirements, compiling board packets, and recording/preparing minutes.
Monitor the President's Office budget, reviewing reports, maintaining records of expenditures, and preparing budget transfers and requisitions.
Maintain organized and secure records for governance and compliance.
Coordinate special projects as assigned by the President, researching and analyzing information and data, interpreting policies and procedures, and recommending solutions.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and institutional policies/procedures.

Provide administrative and logistical support for initiatives that advance the President's strategic priorities.
Contribute to the development of initiatives that align with Hill College's mission, vision, and long-term objectives.
Research and recommend process improvements for executive operations.
Assist with the development and tracking of goals, timelines, and benchmarks for special projects and institutional objectives.
Collaboration:
Serve as the primary point of contact between the President's Office and other departments, community partners, and external agencies.
Coordinate with senior leadership to ensure effective communication and follow-through on institutional priorities.
