Job Description
Responsibilities The Advanced Process Control Engineer will troubleshoot and support existing APC application. Develop and implement new APC applications. Provide advanced process control documentation and training to operations and technical staff. Maintain and continuously improve current DMC applications including activities such as control loop tuning, model identification through plant step tests, DMC tuning, etc.) Issue monthly report with Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Stays abreast of industry best practices in area of specialty. Stay aware of developments in process control and APC capability and identify new improvement opportunities for the site. Maintain and improve alarm management systems and reports in collaboration with operations. Relocation provided. $140K-$175K. Requirements
The Advanced Process Control Engineer will have a BS degree with an engineering major. 5+ years' experience in chemical, refining or industrial manufacturing and/or capital projects with prior responsibility for and familiarity with DCS functions and applications . Experience and knowledge of APC methods and techniques and experience and knowledge of DCS infrastructure. Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
