for a leading electronics logistics and distribution company. This role is ideal for individuals with prior warehouse experience and certified forklift operation skills.
Position Summary: The Material Handler II is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. This includes loading/unloading trucks, operating forklifts, inventory control, and supporting production teams. The role requires accuracy, speed, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities: Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks Safely operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts (certification required) Perform inventory counts and verify incoming/outgoing shipments Package, unpackage, stage, and organize units and materials for production Use RF scanners and computer systems for inventory tracking and data entry Maintain a clean and organized work area Pull and put away equipment or components based on production needs Meet or exceed daily productivity and quality standards Follow safety guidelines and assist in identifying process improvements Support warehouse leadership with other assigned tasks as needed Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of warehouse/material handling experience required Forklift certification and recent hands-on experience operating a forklift Comfortable with RF scanners and basic computer tasks Ability to lift and move heavy items consistently Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Why Work with Adecco?
