Specialized Piping and Mechanical is hiring for an Estimator.
The Estimator plays a critical role in the success of SPM’s projects by preparing accurate and competitive bids for plumbing and mechanical piping scopes. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients.

· Strong collaboration with internal teams and external partners
· Continuous improvement in estimating processes and tools
· Goal Oriented, KPI Driven
Responsibilities:
· Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and drawings to prepare cost estimates.
· Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs for construction projects.
· Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to refine estimates.
· Maintain a database of cost-related information, including subcontractor quotes and material pricing.
· Prepare and submit bids, proposals and submittals to clients.
· Conduct site visits to assess project scope and feasibility.
· Monitor project costs and adjust estimates as needed.
· Stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new materials.
Qualifications:
· (Preferred) Bachelor's degree in construction management, or related field.
· (Required) Minimum 2 years’ experience in Piping related estimating.
· (Required) Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
· (Required) Proficiency in the estimating software Trimble AutoBid.
· (Preferred) Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. · (Preferred) Field experience in Plumbing and/or Pipe Fitting
Compensation:
· Salary based on 2040/Hr. Annually $60,000 - $90,000 + Commission commensurate to Goals and KPI
· Non-Bargaining Union Fringe Benefits (Healthcare, Local Retirement and National Retirement)
