The primary activities of the Utility Worker are to perform all functions of vehicle fueling, have vehicle ready for service and perform general janitorial services
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensure all vehicles are completely fueled and fluids topped, ready for service at various times of the day Fuel and fluids inventories tracked and monitored Fuel logs maintained accurately and up to date for each vehicle and type of fuel/fluid Vehicles parked according to facility parking plan Fuel island maintained and kept clean, any spills contained immediately and reported to the appropriate personnel Work area maintained according to OSHA and EPA regulations Perform general housekeeping practices Work safely and properly with cleaning equipment and chemicals Operate and perform minor maintenance on housekeeping equipment Perform other duties as assigned or required. High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Experience
Experience driving large vehicles preferred, but not required Experience fueling and fluids topped preferred, but not required Customer Service experience preferred Competency Statement(s) Communications

Must have (or be able to obtain) a CDL 'B' class permit with a 'P' endorsement Other Requirements
Must be 21 years of age at time of hire Must pass background check, Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and Drug/Alcohol testing Must pass Customer Service and Safety assessment Excellent problem solving and customer service skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS Physical Abilities
