About the Position:

The
Site Core Buyer
will be responsible for building relationships with suppliers and purchasing cores directly from the back door or sellers within their local area. This role is critical to maintaining inventory levels based on the needs of the distribution center and ensuring the company meets gross profit targets.
What You'll Be Doing: Identify and build relationships with suppliers in the local area. Evaluate and purchase quality products directly from sellers or back-door suppliers. Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers in your location. Negotiate single-item or bulk-item purchases to meet distribution center needs. Create and manage purchase orders, including credit purchase orders for returned products. Oversee and manage the returns process for rejected products at the distribution center. Monitor purchase orders to ensure timely receipt by the distribution center. Communicate daily with the Admin and Supervisor to align with company objectives. Uphold the company's culture by bringing passion and exceptional service to your work every day. Monitor personal performance using provided reporting tools to meet or exceed targets. This is an on-site role that requires strong interpersonal skills, negotiation capabilities, and a deep understanding of local market dynamics.
