Position Summary

The IT Finance Manager partners closely with IT leadership to ensure the department meets or exceeds its financial goals. This role leads a team of eight responsible for procurement, contract management, spend analysis, and financial reporting. The IT Finance Manager also serves as the primary liaison between IT and the Finance and Procurement departments. This position will play a key role in managing IT budgets, optimizing spend, evaluating project investments, and supporting long-term transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Budget Management:

Lead annual IT budgeting and long-range financial planning processes in collaboration with IT leadership and Corporate Finance.

Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and year-end forecasts for IT Opex and Capex.

Track, analyze, and report on actuals vs. budget and forecast; provide variance explanations and actionable insights.

Provide ROI and investment analysis to support IT decision-making

Procurement, Contract & Asset Management

Manage team responsible for procuring IT software, hardware, and supplies

Maintain accurate use of GL accounts and commodity codes in procurement workflows

Manage IT contract lifecycle, including renewals and expirations

Manag telecom expenses with reconciliation of payments and invoices , monitor SLAs. Maintain accurate inventory of devices.

Spend Optimization & Asset Management:

Support negotiations and ongoing financial performance management of key technology vendor contracts.

Monitor and manage total cost of ownership (TCO) and ROI for major initiatives and assets.

Track and manage software and hardware licenses for compliance

Maintain accurate physical inventory of IT assets and equipment

Project & Portfolio Finance:

Evaluate and track business cases, benefits realization, and project financial performance.

Ensure proper accounting treatment of capital vs. expense in collaboration with Accounting.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

5+ years of finance or accounting experience

Experience with financial reporting systems (Lawson, SAP BPC, Concur preferred)

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the full MS Office suite

Prior experience managing a team

Preferred Qualifications

Public accounting background

Corporate procurement experience; Ariba knowledge preferred

Experience with contract lifecycle management

Background in retail or consumer goods

Advanced data analysis using SQL

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Highly collaborative with strong attention to detail

Proactive, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
