**Job Description:**
United Trades of America is seeking experienced **Pipefitters** to join our team for a key project in **Orlando, Florida**. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, and maintaining piping systems for various construction projects, ensuring all work complies with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Assemble and install pipe systems, pipe supports, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. - Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required specifications. - Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine the layout and installation procedures for pipe systems. - Install and maintain pipe systems for heating, cooling, and industrial purposes. - Inspect work sites, measure, and mark pipes for cutting and threading. - Test pipe systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other equipment. - Collaborate with other team members, such as welders and project managers, to complete tasks on time. - Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
**Requirements:** - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pipefitter in the construction or industrial sector. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. - Familiarity with pipe materials (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, PVC) and installation techniques. - Strong knowledge of safety guidelines and OSHA regulations. - Ability to work independently and in a team setting. - Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods. - High school diploma or equivalent; pipefitter certification is a plus. - Valid driver's license.
