Store Customer Service Specialist

This position is essential to the success of our retail stores. Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. They are also responsible for promptly resolving customer concerns to ensure maximum satisfaction, staying updated on product features, and maintaining high standards of product quality and store appearance. Customer Service Specialists aim to deliver excellent service while meeting the store's sales goals. Job duties include contact with customers, which may involve minors; and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. The company reviews criminal history to protect its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, vendors, contractors, and the public. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old Legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation Preferred Qualifications: Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License High School diploma or GED At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service Experience selling paint and related products Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment Ability to communicate in more than one language, including Spanish Sales Responsibilities: Ensure high customer satisfaction through excellent service Assist customers in person and over the phone by identifying needs and recommending products Build trust with customers Process sales accurately and according to policies Meet sales goals regularly Maintain accurate work order files and formulas Pull products from shelves or warehouse Tint and mix products as specified Stock shelves and set up displays Clean equipment Load and unload delivery trucks; assist with deliveries as needed Keep areas stocked and presentable Stay knowledgeable about products and options Follow inventory procedures Suggest sales improvements
