Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager of Technical Accounting to join our growing finance team. This individual will serve as the go-to expert on complex accounting issues, oversee the implementation of new accounting standards, and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies. This role is ideal for a CPA with strong public accounting experience and a passion for solving technical problems and translating guidance into practical application.

Key Responsibilities: Research, interpret, and document complex accounting issues in accordance with U.S. GAAP Draft technical accounting memos and position papers for internal and external stakeholders Lead implementation of new accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 326) Partner with cross-functional teams (legal, operations, FP&A) on deal structuring and new business initiatives Provide technical accounting guidance for M&A activity, equity transactions, and other non-routine events Support external reporting, including 10-K, 10-Q, and other SEC filings as applicable Assist with audit requests and act as a key liaison with external auditors Maintain and update corporate accounting policies and internal controls related to technical areas Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing within the accounting group Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting (Big 4 preferred) Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards Strong technical knowledge of areas like revenue recognition, lease accounting, and financial instruments Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to distill complex issues Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in a public company or fast-paced corporate environment a plus Preferred Experience:

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and financial reporting tools Exposure to IPO readiness, M&A due diligence, or system implementations

Salary: $110,000-$150,000 plus bonus
