Your Role and Responsibilities Executing comprehensive evaluations of patients, prescribing diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care plans Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions cooperatively with physicians or independently, as credentialing allows Providing education to patients and their families on wellness, preventative care, and chronic disease management Prescribing necessary medications and therapies in accordance with your professional scope Engaging in comprehensive patient follow-up and chronic disease management initiatives Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure thorough, cohesive care Meticulously documenting patient information within electronic medical records (EMR) Educational Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Essential Certifications
Current NP licensure in Texas National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equal Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days) What Distinguishes You
