Job Description
As the
Quality Manager , you will report directly to the
Vice President of Quality
and oversee all aspects of
Quality Assurance (QA)
and
Quality Control (QC)
operations. You will lead a team of Quality Engineers and Inspectors in maintaining and enhancing the company's AS9100-compliant Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with FAA, EASA, NADCAP, and customer-specific requirements.
Lead and manage the Quality Assurance & Quality Control teams (Inspectors, Quality Engineers). Maintain and improve the
AS9100 QMS
and ensure regulatory compliance (FAA, EASA, NADCAP). Oversee internal, external, and third-party audits (customer, regulatory, certification). Act as the primary liaison for quality-related matters with customers and suppliers. Manage non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA processes. Track and analyze quality KPIs to identify trends and drive continuous improvement. Implement and champion quality methodologies such as
FMEA, Six Sigma, SPC, PPAP , and
MSA . Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change Management processes. Promote a culture of
continuous improvement and operational excellence . The Successful Applicant
To be successful in as the Quality Manager, you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. 5+ years of quality experience
in a regulated manufacturing environment; minimum 2 years in a
leadership or management role . Deep understanding of
AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA regulations, and NADCAP
processes. Experience with
hydraulic, mechanical , or
electromechanical components
is highly desirable. Strong auditing experience and ability to work with both customers and regulatory agencies. Proven expertise with root cause analysis tools (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys). Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills. What's on Offer
