Essential Functions: • Ability to work in fast paced just in time environment • Ability to safely operate basic machine shop equipment including lathes, drills, grinders, etc. • Ability to safely operate and work from overhead equipment including scissors lift, and cherry picker. • Ability to work safely around large tonnage presses, high heat furnaces, and high-speed robot equipment. • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment • Ability work safely in confined spaces using appropriate PPE. • Listens for unusual sounds from machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts • Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment • Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment • Installs programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers • Aware and understand environmental requirements for handling, storing and disposal of waste • Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.

Minimum Qualifications Education Requirements • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Work Experience Requirements • 3 years' prior experience in industrial maintenance
