We are looking for a
Principal System Engineer
( Full Stack ) who has hands-on experience with both front-end (UI) and back-end technologies.
Responsibilities and Day-to-Day:
Act as a Principal Systems Engineer, leveraging deep expertise and hands-on involvement to lead solution development from initial concept to final delivery, with ownership of outcomes.
Design, build, and optimize robust, scalable micro-frontend (MFE) web applications using React JS/Next JS for dynamic Frontend experiences, and GraphQL, Java, API, and NodeJS for modern Backend for Frontend (BFF) layers.
Demonstrate a self-driven approach by seeking innovative solutions, setting high standards for quality, and championing continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with UX/UI Designers to deliver user experiences that exceed expectations for quality, innovation, and usability.
Lead by example as a technical expert and mentor, inspiring and empowering engineers through knowledge sharing, innovation, and code reviews.
Utilize AI assistants throughout the SDLC to automate testing, deployment, and streamline workflows.
Partner with Application and Domain Architecture teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
Improve performance metrics using tools like Dynatrace, Quantum Metrics, and Splunk.
Design and architect solutions focusing on scalability, security, and availability.
Maintain high standards in design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
Ensure solutions meet industry best practices and non-functional requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Platform, DevOps/SRE, and UX/UI.
Troubleshoot complex issues with ownership and technical expertise.
Continuously seek feedback, measure impact, and adapt strategies for better results.
Guide teams in executing initiatives, maintaining high standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Motivated, passionate, curious about new technologies, with excellent communication and planning skills.
10+ years of experience in building high-performance applications and APIs in Azure, Hybrid cloud environments.
Experience with Next.js, Node.js, React.js, Generative AI, LLMs & Copilots.
7+ years experience with relational/noSQL databases, caching, and front-end frameworks like React.js.
Strong background in object-oriented design and asynchronous processing.
Ability to work successfully with multi-functional teams across organizational boundaries.
Technical Skills:
React.js, Node.js, Next.js, Micro Front-End, Typescript, GraphQL, HTML5, CSS3, Java, JavaScript, REST, NoSQL (Cassandra/MongoDB), Spring Boot, Kafka/MQ, Redis, Azure/AWS, Git, Jira, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
Note: This position requires office presence of at least 5 days/week in Dallas, TX. No relocation offered.
Salary: $158,200 - $237,400 USD annually, based on experience and location.
