Position Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Reporting into Title: Warehouse/Distribution Manager

Business and Department: Materials Management

Position Purpose/Summary:

Responsible for managing the flow of merchandise through one or several functional areas to which they are assigned. Functional areas can be Shipping, Receiving, Returns, Quality, and Inventory Control. This is accomplished by providing direction to the workforce with a hands-on approach. The distribution lead is responsible to ensure the highest level of productivity, accuracy, quality, and safety within their responsibility.

Direct Reports

10-15 various levels of material handlers, including but not limited to, Forklift Operators, Shipping/Receiving Associate, RTS/Inventory.

Position Responsibilities-Tasks-Deliverables

All duties as assigned and the following specific activities. Oversee day to day operations of the Warehousing and Distribution department & employees. Supervise and advise personnel in all Warehousing and Distribution procedures. Coordinate the movement and locating of all incoming components and chemicals. Oversee and assist with receiving inventory. Oversee and assist with receiving incoming labels. Oversee and assist with the transferring of raw components and finished goods to other Visual Pak warehouses. Oversee and assist with the return to stock of raw components. Coordinate and oversee all inventory requests including cycle counts, physical inventory's, and inventory returns. Responsible for printing PAD's when needed Actively recruit, train and evaluate warehouse and inventory staff. Responsible for all scanning and filing of warehouse documents Maintain a clean and safe warehouse at all times. Prepare Bills of Lading & assist with other administrative duties as needed Manage time effectively to complete assignments in expected time frame. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Communicate to the Designated Manager all or any issues found in the Warehouse. Processing Information - compiling, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data. Documenting/Recording Information - entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form. Analyze and resolve, or assist workers in solving daily work problems Train employees on SOP's and ensure the training effectiveness and application of job skills Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Meets assigned logistic activity each assigned shift. Manages assigned workforce to achieve best practices for safety and productivity level. Provides cost benefit options to impact budget goals. Knowledge-Skills-Abilities

Education:

Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Associate's Degree in relatable topic preferred. Equivalent progressive work experience in lieu of educational training. Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' of related experience in a warehouse environment. Experience in safety, regulated production/GMP, planning, logistics, quality, engineering, or other related areas. Minimum of 2 years' having been responsible for direct reports; selection, training, discipline, reward/recognition. Proven experience with high volume transactions and finite deadlines Safety competent; favorable track record highly desired Ability to work well under pressure Strong mathematical abilities Technology/Software:

Basic understanding of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Knowledge of the RF scan gun Knowledge of warehouse management systems, e.g. Navision, SAP, AS400 Communication:

Strong communication skills, will be communicating with various levels of management Strong verbal and written skills Highly customer focused Demonstrated good judgment, professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality Well organized with the ability to work in a fast paced environment Bilingual English/Spanish helpful Physical Capabilities

Strength: Must be able to regularly lift 55 lbs.

Movement

Health and physical state is to allow for considerable amounts of various types of manual labor, including but not limited to extended time periods of standing, walking, rotating, lifting various weights, use of all limbs on a regular basis and on demand Hearing

Able to properly and safely be aware of surroundings using as many of the five senses as possible so as to not be in harm's way of injury to self or injury to others Capable to tolerate warehouse environment noises that are loud, recurring, hurried, and in multiple languages at times. Vision

Able to properly and safely be aware of surroundings using as many of the five senses as possible so as to not be in harm's way of injury to self or injury to others Needs to be able to distinguish hazards that are color coded, may be in multiple languages, or other means to visually identify information
