Why is this role important at Genesee Scientific?
This role will serve as the
hub for cross-functional marketing initiatives , ensuring that campaigns, events, and programs are strategically aligned, flawlessly executed, and measurable in impact. While Genesee's Marketing Manager leads demand generation execution, this role will provide
strategic input, market insights, and collaborative content development support
to strengthen those efforts. Additionally, this position will take
ownership of trade shows, the national sales meeting, and marketing request intake/project prioritization , while driving research and insights that inform the broader marketing strategy.
What will you do:
Campaign & Program Leadership
Own the
intake and prioritization of marketing requests , ensuring alignment with company objectives and efficient use of resources Act as the
project manager for integrated campaigns , coordinating across sales, product management, creative, and digital marketing to ensure timely and impactful delivery Partner with the Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist on
demand generation initiatives , providing input on audience segmentation, content needs, and market trends to strengthen campaign strategies Collaborate on
content strategy and development
by shaping messaging frameworks, developing campaign briefs, and ensuring consistency across channels (email, web, social, collateral) Lead development of
sales enablement tools and collateral , in partnership with creative and product teams Event Leadership
Take primary responsibility for
trade show planning, logistics, and execution , ensuring alignment with demand generation and brand strategy Lead strategy, planning, and execution of the
annual national sales meeting , managing cross-functional coordination and external partners Ensure post-event analysis and reporting, tying outcomes back to broader marketing and sales objectives Research & Insights
Conduct ongoing
market research, competitive analysis, and VOC programs
to identify growth opportunities and inform marketing strategy Maintain and refine
customer personas and ideal customer profiles , providing insights that feed into campaign and content development Translate research and campaign results into
clear, actionable insights
for leadership Measurement & Continuous Improvement
Partner with the digital marketing team to define and track KPIs for integrated campaigns and events Provide reporting and recommendations to leadership, highlighting ROI and opportunities for improvement Support a culture of testing, optimization, and process improvement across the marketing team Requirements
What you will bring:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B, life sciences, or related industries Demonstrated ability to
lead projects and cross-functional initiatives
with multiple stakeholders Hands-on experience with
event management
(trade shows, conferences, or internal meetings) Exposure to demand generation and content strategy, with the ability to
collaborate effectively with specialists
leading those functions Experience guiding content development (e.g., messaging briefs, campaign assets, sales collateral) to ensure consistency and alignment Strong research and analytical skills; ability to distill data into insights that inform strategy Excellent organizational and project management skills; PMP certification a plus Proficiency with marketing tools (HubSpot, Google Analytics, ad platforms) and project management software A balance of
strategic thinking and tactical execution , with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Physical Requirements:
