HR Manager
Position Overview:
Our client is a Not-for-profit, located in DC that's looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will play a crucial role in managing and implementing various HR functions to support our employees and organization's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection of candidates. Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
Employee Relations:
Foster a positive work environment and handle employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner. Implement HR policies and procedures to maintain a healthy workplace culture.
Performance Management:
Oversee performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on performance improvement plans. Work with department heads to develop and implement performance improvement strategies.
Benefits and Compensation:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks. Ensure competitive compensation structures and conduct salary reviews as needed.
Training and Development:
Identify training and development needs and coordinate training initiatives. Support employee growth and skill development.
HR Compliance:
Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Manage HR documentation and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience in HR management, with 5 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information. Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Target salary range $75k-$85k
