The Lead Cyber Security Engineer serves as the enterprise security lead responsible for all HUD OIG sites. This senior role requires extensive IT and cybersecurity expertise across end-user and enterprise networks. Duties
- Direct cybersecurity operations, monitoring, and incident response across HUD OIG systems. - Manage vulnerability tracking, mitigation, and POA&M updates. - Lead technical teams in implementing secure IT architectures, aligned with NIST SP 800-53, SP 800-171, and SP 800-161 practices. - Provide advisory support to the PM and HUD CISO. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field. - CISSP certification required (within 120 days). - 8+ years of IT security engineering experience. - Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability management tools. - Knowledge of Federal cybersecurity policies, FISMA, and NIST guidance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
