We are looking for an experienced and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams by maintaining and improving industrial machines. This includes performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of machine tools and equipment. You will play a key role in enhancing the overall effectiveness of our systems and ensuring the operational efficiency of our machines.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Tool Operation : Set up and operate various machine tools, such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and others, to fabricate or repair parts and machinery.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance : Diagnose machine malfunctions and determine necessary adjustments or repairs. Replace defective parts with new components or fabricate new parts when needed.

Inspection & Testing : Perform regular inspections and test equipment to ensure proper operation. Maintain and lubricate machines to extend their lifecycle and reduce downtime.

Electrical & Mechanical Repairs : Repair faulty wiring, switches, relays, and other electrical equipment. Assemble and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components.

Documentation & Reporting : Use blueprints, sketches, and specifications to guide repairs and maintenance. Draft and present data to company leadership regarding automation system performance and vision inspection improvements.

Automation & Vision Systems : Assemble, install, and maintain new automation and vision systems. Troubleshoot, program, and repair existing systems to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and quality capabilities.

Collaboration : Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to make key decisions regarding automation and vision inspection technologies.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED. A college degree or vocational training in engineering, robotics, or camera inspection is .

3-5 years of relevant experience in automation, machine tool operation, and systems maintenance.

Expertise in ABB Robot controls, Fanuc Robot controls, and Allen Bradley Compact Logix programming and troubleshooting.

Proficiency with Instruments Vision Builder, Keyence Vision software, and General Inspection Vision software.

Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, machine tool maintenance, and electrical repairs (e.g., wiring, switches, relays).

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machine specifications.

Welding experience is a plus.
