The Sr. Development Coordinator provides multi-faceted support to Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) and work collaboratively and in consultation with other staff to ensure development programs, projects, and initiatives are fully supported. The Sr. Development Coordinator will contribute to projects and detailed reporting. The Sr. Development Coordinator will provide high-level administrative support for complex projects, assigned by the Senior Director of Development and the Director of Constituent Engagement for the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences Office of External Affairs. Reporting to the Sr. Administrative Manager, this position serves as the chief representative and point of contact for the Sr. Director of Development and the Director of Constituent Engagement with respect to scheduling, monitoring and tracking project results and deliverables, conferences, travel, preparing correspondence to all levels of internal and external constituents, composing and editing reports and other written materials. Key responsibilities: Serve as lead to triage internal and external constituent inquiries. Work closely with team members and leadership to promptly resolve any constituent issues. Ensure the accurate processing of contributions, and maintain the integrity of the donor database (CRM). Review and ensure data quality. Triage issues to the team and leadership. Compile and analyze data. Produce ad hoc and regular reports. Assist team leadership with reporting and analysis of gift and pipeline-related data Ensure successful prospect identification/pipeline building, portfolio management, and other processes for gift officer support. Partner with the Director of Development (DOD)/team lead on work plan preparations and submissions. Generate and manipulate templated and customized donor, prospect, and faculty reports. Research and/or compile briefing materials and presentations. Proofread and edit documents and office communications. Assist with planning, executing, and evaluating special events. Staff events as assigned. Coordinate project management (schedule meetings, create timelines, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items). Represent the team on committees. Submit travel reimbursements for business-related expenses using Concur. Maintain and monitor the operating budget. Provide back-up administrative support for team members. Other duties as assigned. In addition to the duties listed above, the Sr. Development Coordinator will: Proactively manage the Sr. Director of Development and the Director of Constituent Engagement's electronic calendars for meetings, incoming and outgoing invitations, and frequent meeting requests exercising independent judgement and making independent decisions to resolve scheduling conflicts based on an understanding of projects and priorities, and realign the respective calendars as priorities change. Draft donor visit and event briefings to be reviewed and completed by the Sr. Director of Development and the Director of Constituent Engagement. This includes using the CRM and other resources for research for relevant information to include in the briefing. Manage the President's Memo review process on a monthly basis by confirming all data included in the memo is accurate and representative of the fundraising efforts of the Krieger Development Team. This requires the use of various JHAS reporting capabilities as well as distribution to the fundraising team for review and feedback. Organize all-day ATM prospect planning retreat once a year. Work collaboratively with the Sr. Director of Development to create agenda, schedule speakers, collect materials, and acquire all needed reservations, catering and supplies. Provide any follow-up support to the Sr. Director of Development after the retreat. Assist other Krieger School Office of External Affairs development coordinators with boards & councils meetings throughout the academic year. Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or graduation equivalent. Five years of related experience. Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond HS Diploma/Graduation Equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
