Position: Buffet Breakfast Attendant Date: July 2023
Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager
Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent with previous restaurant experience is strongly preferred.
We're seeking a friendly, efficient, and energetic Wait Staff to join our team. Working at our restaurant, you'll be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, from greeting customers to serving patrons. Our goal is to make sure our customers have the best dining experience possible, and that starts with you.

Responsibilities
Greet patrons in a timely manner and, if needed, show them to their tables
Stay up-to-date on the latest menu offerings to answer customer questions and provide recommendations as needed
Take food and beverage orders, paying close attention to special requests and dietary restrictions
Deliver food from the kitchen to the table in a safe and timely manner
Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation requirements
Clean and prepare tables as needed
Requirements
Friendly, customer service-oriented personality
Experience as Wait Staff or server preferred but not required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to stay on your feet for multiple hours at a time
Superb organizational and multitasking skills
Be a team player
Be willing to assist with other duties as needed
Other
Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up
Ability to read, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with co-workers and guests
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and guests.
Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers with tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. Able to work varied shifts, including Weekday Evenings, weekends and holidays.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this position, the job regularly requires one to Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Carry a banquet serving tray, filled to capacity, overhead/on shoulder. Stand or walk for an entire work shift
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules (including Holidays and weekends) to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
