Perform facility and equipment repairs to support manufacturing operations.
Maintain and repair equipment promptly, ensuring safety as the top priority.
Communicate findings clearly, both orally and in writing.
Assist with the installation, testing, and validation of new production equipment.
Job Duties:
Perform preventive maintenance on manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Adjust machine systems, interlocks, sensors, and energy isolation systems per safety procedures.
Diagnose and repair issues using PLC display monitors, CNC panels, and similar controls.
Maintain certifications, maintenance records, and machine history documentation.
Repair and improve facility systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and lighting.
Support Engineering with equipment installation, testing, and modifications.
Prioritize work requests based on safety and production needs with minimal supervision.
Follow Lockout/Tagout and Arc Flash safety procedures.
Identify, order, and procure replacement components and supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Technical College degree .
2–5 years’ experience reading/interpreting electrical schematics, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment.
1–2 years’ experience training other maintenance mechanics .
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Kanban, Root Cause Problem Solving) is a plus.
Basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Ability to work independently with safety as a priority.
Basic computer skills.
Comfortable working at heights using lifts, ladders, or scaffolding.
Strong decision-making and communication skills.
