Summary:

The Plant Manager oversees all aspects of manufacturing processes. Plans and directs the purchase, maintenance, and layout of equipment. Establishes workflow and assembly methods to maximize efficiency of manufacturing operations. Directs and monitors workforce utilization.

Job Duties: 1. Direct and manage plant operations for production and maintenance. 2. Coordinate plant activities through the planning with departmental managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner. 3. Develop and control profits, plans, and budget. 4. Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries. 5. Manages capital asset maintenance. 6. Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards. 7. Control and minimize labor overtime and repair expenses. 8. Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary. 9. Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives. 10. Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel. 11. Provides direction, development and leadership to production supervisors.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's Degree preferred 2. 8-10 years of manufacturing experience in a similar position. 3. Other required KSA (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): Strong customer service orientation (internal and external). Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills. Analytical, creative and collaborative problem solver. Strategic thinker and generator of ideas for advancing plant operations. Champion for continuous improvement in all personnel and processes .
