The Company seeks a Senior Asset Manager responsible for an initial portfolio of 9 multi-family properties located throughout Southern California, Arizona, and Texas, requiring periodic travel. The position reports to the Senior Managing Director of Multifamily Operations. The goal is to grow the residential portfolio through acquisitions, including affordable housing projects. Location

Dallas, TX Responsibilities

Conduct regular property visits and prepare inspection reports. Coordinate with Maintenance Manager on multi-family projects. Meet monthly with third-party management regarding property status. Bid, negotiate, and supervise capital projects. Review occupancy and NOI, reporting weekly to management. Participate in rent pricing discussions and adjust rents as needed. Review financial statements, budgets, and monitor performance. Assist with due diligence and escrow activities for acquisitions and dispositions. Negotiate third-party contracts and monitor income streams. Analyze performance metrics using Yardi Matrix. Coordinate with HOA management. Conduct quarterly tenant surveys. Compare occupancy to market levels quarterly and recommend actions. Travel approximately 25% of the time. Qualifications

College degree required. At least 10 years of multi-family asset management experience, including market-rate and affordable housing. Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders. Understanding of contracts, leases, and leasing strategies. Customer service and tenant relations expertise. Ability to manage bids, vendors, and contractors. Professional demeanor in all communications. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Initiative and ability to work independently. Strong work ethic and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Team player with good collaboration skills. Proficiency in MS Office. Experience managing rent-controlled properties. Knowledge of lead tracking programs. Yardi Voyager and Yardi RENT Maximizer experience is a plus. Compensation
