The posted compensation range of $33.60 - $48.73 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Position Summary: Operates ultrasound equipment and performs a variety of technical diagnostic procedures which encompass the specialty areas of Peripheral Vascular Imaging. Provides a preliminary report of procedure completed. Provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test. Performs complete diagnostic tests inclusive of positioning patient, calibration of equipment, documentation of findings, under the direct supervision of the supervisor and/or Non?Invasive Cardiology Manager. Assists patients with basic patient care needs. Provides emergency care, notifying appropriate personnel and ensures that patient safety is not jeopardized. Responsibilities: Performs all duties of a Peripheral Vascular Tech I Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards. Actively participates with patient testing, performing routine, non?routine, urgent, and emergent patient requests. Communicates with Patient Transportation, Nursing Units, Physician Offices, other diagnostic areas to ensure that the patients receive their diagnostic procedures in a smooth, efficient and safe manner. Performs portable examinations at the bedside to ensure patient safety as well as provide immediate diagnostic testing when needed. Qualifications: Associate's Degree health related program in a related medical field, which includes seminar course training in cardiac ultrasound OR one year certificate preferred Registered by American Diagnostic Registry for Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as RVT or RDCS ?OR? Registered by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as RVS or RCS Three (3) years related experience Unless directed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement, applications for this position will be considered on a rolling basis.
