Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Commercial Framing and Drywall Estimator to support preconstruction efforts for large-scale design-build projects. This position will support projects throughout the Southeast region to include NC, SC, GA, and FL. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and quantity take-offs for commercial drywall and framing scopes. The ideal candidate brings over a decade of experience in subcontractor-level estimating and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities + Analyze RFQs, RFPs, plans, and specs to determine scope and develop estimates + Prepare conceptual, design-build, and hard-bid estimates using On-Screen Takeoff and related software + Coordinate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors + Develop and manage quantity take-offs, unit pricing, and budget summaries + Participate in Bid Day reviews and ensure timely proposal submissions + Maintain cost data, subcontractor directories, and vendor communications + Support project transitions and post-award coordination with operations teams + Assist in continuous improvement of estimating tools and processes Qualifications + Minimum 10 years of commercial drywall/framing estimating experience at subcontractor level + Strong knowledge of conceptual and hard-bid estimating techniques + Experience in public-sector, design-build construction preferred + Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, and Adobe Acrobat preferred + High school diploma or GED required (associate or technical degree a plus) + Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills What We Offer + Competitive compensation and benefits package + Career growth opportunities in a national and international project environment + Supportive team culture focused on innovation and excellence + Work from our Jacksonville, FL office with occasional travel to regional project sites.
