Chancellor for Administrative Affairs General Summary
The Executive Assistant provides direct, high-level, and complex administrative support to the Chancellor for Administrative Affairs, supporting the mission and vision of the Diocese of St. Augustine. Location
This is not a remote position. Work location is at the Diocese of St. Augustine Chancery Offices, 11625 Old St. Augustine Road, Jacksonville, Florida. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain confidentiality and diplomacy regarding diocesan matters. Manage the Chancellors calendar and appointments. Screen calls and visitors, assist with correspondence, and handle office mailings. Serve as liaison between the Chancellors staff and other diocesan offices. Assist in preparing reports, correspondence, and official documents. Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reimbursements. Establish clerical processes and maintain organized records and databases. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chancellor. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing, knowledgeable of Church hierarchy and teachings. Fluent in Spanish and English. Bachelors degree with at least five years of executive support experience. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and online databases. Excellent communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of religious terminology and protocol is preferred. Valid drivers license and successful background check required.
