Job Overview: We
are looking for a Senior Accountant to handle the controllership duties of the company.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
month and end-year process accounts payable/receivable general ledger revenue and expenditure variance analysis balance sheet reconciliations check runs fixed asset activity debt activity
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles Coordinate and complete annual audits Provide recommendations Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions Liaison with 3rd party to implement states sales tax process
Qualifications:
Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations High attention to detail and accuracy BS degree in Accounting or Finance Understanding of State sales tax
