Company Description Our client designs and manufactures portable home comfort appliances, including portable fans, heaters, humidifiers, air purifiers, ventilation products, and water damage restoration products. The company operates through various distribution channels, catering to both the consumer market and the construction industry. Their products are sold in North America, South America, the Caribbean, and Asia, and the company is recognized as a leader in its categories. Objective of the Role The National Sales Account Manager will maintain and develop two key accounts: COSTCO in Washington and TARGET in Minnesota. The primary objective is to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets, cultivate relationships with retail partners, enhance online sales, and optimize product placement and merchandising across e-commerce and traditional channels. Ideal Profile The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of sales experience, with at least 7 years specifically in home products or related consumer packaged goods (CPG) sales with very large key accounts such as Costco, Target, Walmart or similar. Candidates should come from a background that reflects seasonality similar to the company's product range and should be proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant sales software. Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic plans to exceed off and on-line sales targets on these 2 accounts. Cultivate strong relationships with key retail and digital partners, ensuring brand consistency and optimal product placement. Leverage insights to enhance online sales, merchandising, and marketing strategies. Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to inform business decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create tailored product proposals and promotional strategies. Requirements 10+ years in sales, including 7+ years in the home product or related CPG industries. Strong knowledge of e-commerce strategies, online merchandising, and digital analytics would be a plus to help transition the company to a more on-line business focus Proven ability to develop and manage impactful partnerships with retail and e-commerce accounts. Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
