Qualified candidates will be responsible for managing field office personnel, logistics, equipment and consumable usage, and vehicle assignments and maintenance. Additionally this position is responsible for reviewing and approving time entries that impact job costs and billing, as well as assigned personnel time off requests. As needed you may be called to oversee large losses that require additional management and supervision.ResponsibilitiesCommunicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, employees and insurance companiesCoordinate and manage multiple residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects of various complexities simultaneouslyRun larger mitigation jobs as field superintendent as needed.Provide technical explanations to clients, adjusters, consultants and othersMeet with estimators and superintendents regularly to ensure accuracy of all work being performed and regular contact with customers is maintainedVisit job sites as necessary to ensure qualitySchedule daily work orders submitted from the estimators and project managers for restoration, contents and light rebuilds per staff capability.Provide constructive feedback and direction to complete tasks on time and within budgetEnsure all work crews are appropriately uniformedMeet with municipal inspectors and secure needed permits as requiredImplement site-specific safety plansOversee all moisture mapping for water losses.Coordinate after-hours emergency services as directed, including board-ups, water damage, fire and smoke damage, and vandalismRespond to emergencies including after hour responses as necessaryDevelop and manage a sustainable contents operational processEnsure warehouse is sufficiently stocked with necessary supplies and equipmentAttend BELFOR sponsored operations and safety training coursesQualify subcontractors and complete BELFOR vendor packagesConduct regular two-way assessments of staff performanceOther duties as assigned Requirements:Manage daily logistics and job assignments of field personnel and equipmentImplement and monitor on-site safety plansCoordinate daily needs with temp staffing companiesCoordinate job starts and schedule appointments with customers and clientsEnsure warehouse is appropriately stocked with necessary supplies and equipmentHandle customer complaints that pertain to quality of work or performance of employeesSchedule and ensure vehicle maintenance is performedComplete accident, injury, & incident reporting formsSet the estimator/production on call scheduleWork as a team with local and national operations to promote customer satisfaction, sales growth, and the success of the entire BELFOR organization.Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practicesWork under time constraints to meet specific timelinesAttend BELFOR sponsored operations and safety training courses as requiredQualifications:Sense of urgency, professional appearance and demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethicMinimum 5 years' superintendent experience with restoration, cleaning, and/or applicable construction industries on commercial, industrial, and/or institutional projects, or equivalentExperience with site-specific safety plansKnowledge of DOT requirementsEligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR's vehicle policyExperience operating vehicles up to 26,000 GVW and operating truck-trailer combinations strongly preferredProficient with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word)Proficient with restoration industry management system (Restoration Manager, DASH, Service Software, LUXOR), or equivalentWilling to work nights and weekends when necessary or requestedAbility to travel periodically without restrictionRestoration Project Manager$500,000 single project capability$1,000,000+ aggregate project capabilityIntermediate training and experience with two of the following:Water DamageFire DamageContents DamageAdvanced training and experience with one of the following:Water DamageFire DamageContents DamageConstruction Project Manager$750,000 single project capability$1,000,000+ aggregate project capabilityExtensive knowledge of construction tradesWorking knowledge of building codes and regulatory agenciesHazardous material identification ability, including asbestos, lead paint, mold and IICRC unsanitary water categories 2, 3, and Special Situations strongly preferredFamiliarity of Material Safety Data Sheet (SDS) use preferredSatisfactory completion of OSHA Construction 30 hour course preferredValid EPA Lead RRP Certified Renovator license preferredExperience in restoration, insurance or construction, preferred Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferredPhysical DemandsFrequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs.Sustained periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneelingAccess and mobility in tight spacesManual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasksThe ability to bend, crouch, or stand as necessary.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
