State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)
Position Summary: The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. This position is PRN (per diem) and offers flexible hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Monitor vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration. Assist with transfers, ambulation, and positioning of patients. Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the medical record. Report any changes in patient condition to the registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Maintain a clean and safe patient environment. Adhere to all facility policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Current STNA certification in the state of Ohio. Basic knowledge of healthcare procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to lift and transfer patients. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
