Job Description Job Title: Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and assisting in cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and other procedural operations including peripheral vascular procedures, pacemaker placements, and interventional radiology tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist in cardiac catheterizations, PCI (STEMI), and various other procedures. - Monitor, document, and accurately calculate hemodynamic data during procedures. - Provide procedural support to physicians during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases. - Assess and manage access sites, ensuring proper communication with the physician. - Adhere to established on-call protocols for the catheterization lab. - Prepare patients for procedures, providing compassionate care and effective communication.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED. - Current Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required. - RCIS certification is preferred. - Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) experience are required. - Previous cardiac catheterization lab experience is mandatory.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM or 8 AM - 6 PM. - Full-time position with guaranteed 40 hours per week.
