Job Summary- Part Time
The Social Media Manager is a vital part of the Marketing &Communications team and is responsible for boosting the social media presenceof Deer Run and developing long-term growth strategies for Deer Run's socialmedia presence online. This position uses strategies within multiple socialmedia platforms to connect users to the mission and ministry of Deer Run, buildingand developing relationships between users in a virtual setting with the goalof transitioning those relationships into multiple in-person connections atDeer Run. They create and execute digital marketing strategies to inform, increasebrand awareness, advertise, and attract public interest.
Responsibilities include but are not limitedto: • Research and create informed campaigns thatappeal to targeted audiences. • Collaborate with marketing team members tocreate a social media calendar. • Collaborate with marketing team members todevelop and post social media content that aligns with digital marketingstrategies. • Collaborate with designers and photographersto post excellent, engaging, well-designed and informative campaigns that alignwith Deer Run brand standards. • Contribute to the content creation process by
o Attending events and producing live socialmedia content.
o Assisting in creation of written, video, andphoto content. • Manage Deer Run social media accounts.
o Create, schedule, and post a variety ofstrategic social media content on Deer Run social media accounts, such asposts, reels, stories, Q&As, polls, contests, giveaways, etc.
o Monitor all social media content.
o Interact with followers and respond tocomments and questions. Share when Deer Run is tagged as appropriate.
o Track the performance and engagement of postsand campaigns. Develop and implement strategies to increase performance andengagement. • Develop a long-term social media strategy incoordination with the Marketing and Communications Director, developingstrategies and plans to utilize additional social media platforms. • Keep up with technologies and trends used insocial media and implement within Deer Run campaigns. • Maintain a unified brand voice acrossdifferent social media channels. • Write, edit and review marketing andcommunications copy for social media posts, email communication, websiteupdates and additions, signage and other forms of communication as needed.

Work Experienc e: • 2+years social media management experience • 1+years writing and editorial experience • 1year ministry experience beneficial but not required • Expertise using social media managementtools • Experiencewith Adobe Creative Cloud(Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus
