About the position

The Training Manager is responsible for developing and delivering training to our franchisees, centers and internal staff. This role works with Subject Matter Experts for researching and developing courses. The Training Manager also monitors existing course materials and updates as necessary based on technology and other changes.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a self-directed and highly organized professional with proven experience in facilitating training across multiple formats, including in-person classes, webinars, and e-learning modules. They possess strong technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Google Suite and are excellent verbal and written communicators. This individual is adept at managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and creating engaging training content for various audiences. Previous experience in the sign/printing industry is a significant asset.

Essential Functions

Facilitate Training classes as assigned; including but not limited to sign design, production, management, Point of Sale, sales, and other topics. Guide participants through completion of all training activities.

Create and facilitate live and recorded webinars. Create recorded video training assets. Assist other facilitators as necessary.

Schedule and execute field training sessions as appropriate including time frame, target audience, topics and locations.

Create e-learning instruction to contribute to the University of FASTSIGNS on-line.

Keep up-to-date on the latest technology or other changes to maintain and update Training Tools for the FASTSIGNS network.

Plan and participate in the Annual FASTSIGNS International Convention, Outside Sales Summit and other events as necessary.

Submit articles to the internal FASTSIGNS publication the “Cutting Edge” as necessary and/or requested.

Submit articles to the weekly internal FASTSIGNS US and UK newsletter “FASTBrief” as necessary and/or requested.

Research additional third-party training resources as may benefit the FASTSIGNS network.

Monitor the Learning Management System as required.

What We Need

Education and Experience

Strong skills in the Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat), as well as Google Suite (Google Mail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Forms, Google Calendar) required.

Beneficial software knowledge includes: ONYX RIP Software, CoreBridge Point of Sale, Camtasia Capture, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate, Microsoft Office.

Previous experience in a support coordinator capacity preferred.

Previous FASTSIGNS center or other sign/printing experience is very beneficial.

Additional Requirements

Must reside in the Dallas metroplex or relocate within 90 days of employment.
