We're looking for a Licensing Supervisor to supervise a team of Licensing Specialists that monitor sites ( licensed centers and certified home providers) for compliance of Bulletin 137 or Bulletin 139.

Minimum Qualifications

Seven years of experience in hospital, nursing home, or day care center administration, early childhood development program regulation, social services, administrative services, or education; OR

Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus four years of experience in hospital, nursing home, or day care center administration, early childhood development program regulation, social services, administrative services, or education; OR

A bachelor's degree plus four years of experience in hospital, nursing home, or day care center administration, early childhood development program regulation, social services, administrative services, or education; OR

An advanced degree plus three years of experience in hospital, nursing home, or day care center administration, early childhood development program regulation, social services, administrative services, or education.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a current Louisiana driver's license at time of appointment.

Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:

As a Licensing Supervisor, you'll supervise a team of Licensing Specialist responsible for monitoring licensed centers and certified home providers. In this role, you will: Ensure regionally assigned Licensing Specialist assignments are thorough, accurate, and completed and submitted timely 139 Assist with staff in the development of a realistic and workable plan when a change in work procedures and/or flow is needed Provide quality customer service by treating all with whom you come in contact Compile information derived from inspections, prepare reports on results of inspections, describe findings and need for improvement or revision of facility operations, and formulate recommendations Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type:

Probational, Promotional, or Job Appointment. Current permanent classified state employees may be required to accept a probationary appointment, if selected. Work Schedule:

Work days are Monday - Friday; work hours will be determined. Compensation:

The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
