Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician 1
Location:
Morgan Creek Apartments, our 360-unit multi-family residential community in Tampa, FL 33647 (Bruce B Downs and I-75).
What we Offer our Technicians : Competitive base hourly pay, $40.00 per month personal cell phone allowance, automatic quarterly pay increases every 3 months, after initial 90-day period. Daytime schedules, Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break daily, weekend rotation required Full-time Employee health benefits and programs, paid Holiday's, paid sick time, paid Vaca, and much more About Us:

Responsibilities:
Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines Manage service requests and ensure timely completion Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development Assist in property preventative maintenance plan Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper roles at multi-family properties Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, curb-appeal, etc. Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Skills & Certifications:
EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred. If you do not have your EPA, but posses the right skills, experience and drive to join our team, we (RPS) may sponsor your and pay for your EPA certification within your first 75-days on the job. Valid Driver's License required for position (golf cart and on-call), and verified during background. Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
