We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll be a key part of our success by supporting the store leadership team in providing an exceptional customer experience, ensuring that fellow fans can access the merchandise they love. You’ll leverage your fandom knowledge to train new recruits and support daily operations and sales targets.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages repeat visits, showcasing your product knowledge and customer service skills. Step in and support when needed, including covering the sales floor and assisting the management team. Open and close the store as required, demonstrating responsibility and trust. Operate the register, process sales, and use your fandom knowledge to promote add-on sales and benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Understand store sales plans, goals, and key KPIs such as UPT and ADT. Assist with planogram updates, including store layout and merchandising. Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners. Work with Store Management to prevent theft and ensure store security. Maintain organized stockroom and store cleanliness. Contribute to building a passionate, collaborative team to run your store effectively. Perform any additional activities assigned by your Store Leader. WHAT YOU'LL NEED
At least 1 year of retail experience; a love for music and pop culture is a plus! Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and operational skills. High school diploma or GED. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds. Pay range: $11.48 - $15 per hour. Final salary depends on education, location, experience, and other factors.
